Expertises
The Bioprofiler resource of the Metabolism Platform performs qualitative and quantitative analyses of biomolecules. The activities offered include:
- Detection and quantification of physiological markers (peptides, metabolites, catecholamines, etc.)
- Characterization of enzymatic activities: inhibitor screening assays, energy metabolism, epigenetic signaling, etc.
- Analysis of therapeutic and toxic compounds: endocrine disruptors, bisphenols, aromatic amines, etc.
- Evaluation of the oxidative potential of nanoparticles
Equipments
- 5 HPLC systems, including 3 UFLC systems equipped with the following detection modules: UV/vis, photodiode array (PDA), fluorimetry, electrochemical detection, evaporative light scattering detection (ELSD), and mass spectrometry
- 3 gas chromatographs: GC-FID, GC-MS, and GC-MS/MS
Analytical capacity
- Collaborative projects and service provision: Several thousand samples analyzed per year
- Involvement in multiple research projects (ANR, ANSES, NIH, European H2020 programs, etc.)
