Doctoral Schools

The BFA Unit’s research teams are mainly involved in two doctoral schools of the Université Paris Cité.

Bio Sciences Paris Cité doctoral school

The BioSPC-562 doctoral school offers a wide range of fields and disciplines in Biology, with a rich selection of excellent host laboratories for thesis preparation. Its scientific perimeter encompasses Cell and Molecular Biology, Development, Immunology, Infectiology, Genetics, Neurobiology, Physiology, Physiopathology, as well as Reproduction and Aging.

 

Doctoral School on Drugs, Toxicology, Chemistry and Imaging

The Medicines, Toxicology, Chemistry, Imagery doctoral school (MTCI ED 563) offers a multidisciplinary approach integrating fundamental questions and clinical applications, with biomedical and therapeutic research as the common thread. Its ambition is to provide PhD students with a rich and stimulating intellectual framework, fostering the development of cross-disciplinary skills to tackle issues at the interface of chemistry, biology and health.

It is supported by a network of internationally renowned research teams, offering excellent training through research.

Doctoral School of Public Health

The 393 Pierre Louis Doctoral School of Public Health: Epidemiology and Biomedical Information Sciences brings together research teams mainly from Université Paris Cité and Sorbonne Université, as well as institutes involved in epidemiological research, such as Institut Pasteur and INED.
