A high-performance multimodal reader

The FlexStation 3® multimodal reader detects a wide range of absorbance, fluorescence (intensity, polarization or time-resolved fluorescence) and luminescence. Two monochromators enable optimum excitation and emission wavelengths to be determined by selecting wavelengths between 200 and 1000nm with 1nm increments. Five reading modes can be used as required: end-point, kinetic, sprectre, multi-point and flex (kinetic with reagent added by the automat).
You can use plates from 6 to 384 wells.

A multi-channel manipulator-pipetteer robot

The multi-channel manipulator-pipettor robot enables reagents or drugs to be dispensed automatically into 96 and 384-well culture wells. It allows you to control drug addition times and minimize pipetting errors, offering a powerful tool for high-throughput studies and for kinetics over very short times (second). Liquids are dispensed via integrated multi-channel pipettes, enabling drugs to be dispensed into 8 or 16 wells simultaneously.

The FlexStation 3 is thermostated (up to 45°C), enabling a temperature of 37°C for live cell studies.

Applications

FlexStation 3® can be used for real-time dynamic studies of various parameters on living cells or biochemical extracts: measurement of calcium flux or cyclic nucleotide, membrane potentials, enzyme kinetics, fatty acid incorporation, neurotransmitter uptake, protein kinase/phosphatase activity, reporter gene activity (dual luciferase)….

FlexStation 3® equipment represents a technological innovation essential to the development of numerous research projects.
